How’s this for an NBD: every genre of skateboarding represented within the World Skate international federation will hold their respective World Championships as part of the World Skate Games Italia 2024, taking place in key locations across Italy between the 6th and 22nd of September 2024We are talking the World Championships of Downhill, Vert, Street, Park and Slalom all taking place in the space of just a few weeks at the most beautiful time of the year in Italy. Come and see them all!
From Downhill at beautiful seaside Tortoreto, to the Vert World Championships in downtown Rome city-centre, this is a chance like no other to see the best in the world in every classic genre of skateboarding from the very roots right up to today- AND all in beautiful Italy, too. Make a holiday of it!
This entire skateboarding extravaganza is happening as part of the wider World Skate Games taking place throughout Italy in September. The World Championships in other wheeled action like Roller Derby taking place in locations from Piemonte to Rimini at the same time, if you'd like to find out what else is out there in terms of youth activities with international scenes of their own. Why not join us in Italy this September, then, for one of the biggest coming-together's of all aspects of organised skateboarding culture- past, present and future!
Having previously taken place in China (2017), Spain (2019) and Argentina (2022), the World Skate Games brings together over 12,000 people including athletes, coaches, and delegations from 100 countries worldwide to bring together the World Championships of 12 different roller sports simultaneously.
The merging of energies for these activities which range from Downhill Skateboarding to Rink Hockey allow young people from throughout the world to meet and share experiences both within their own activities, but also beyond them, too, should they so desire. It is an opportunity we are also delighted to extend to more than 10,000 spectators from around the world who Italy will also play host to during the WSG!
