WST Lausanne 2023: Coaching Development Strategy Presentation Invite

Written by Niall Neeson

World Skate would like to invite all interested parties to attend the first of two presentations unveiling our Olympic Skateboarding, Coach Development Strategy during the upcoming WST Lausanne Street Pro in Lausanne, Switzerland (the second will be at our Park World Championships in Ostia at the start of October).

The presentation is scheduled for Saturday, September 16th, at 11:00 AM and will now take place at the Palais de Beaulieu, right by the FOP

The strategy is the first initiative of the Skateboard Coaching Commission, which was formed in May 2023 through the volunteered services of Alain Goikoetxea, Kenny Reed, Lea Schairer, Sean Hayes, Sharne Jacobs, Alex Wolf, Amber Edmondson, Chris Curran and Cristiano Mateus after World Skate invited worldwide interest.

The Skateboard Coaching Development Strategy is guided by the findings of our Coaching Development Survey from July, through which recipients of our regular newsletters were invited to offer their input on where priority needs lay.

The presentation, which will be led by James Karageorgiou, our SB Coaching Development Manager, will span 45 minutes. Room capacity is limited and attendants are requested to register in advance using the following form: CLICK HERE!

If you would like to join us to help formulate a path through which we can collectively raise the standards of skateboard coaching worldwide and in the interests of all involved, we will be glad to welcome you there.
You will also have the chance to confirm attendance via the Infinity App while in Lausanne, should you forget.

Time and date for the Ostia repeat presentation will be communicated in due course!
