WST Dubai Street 2024: Qualifier Results

Hello once again from the waterfront in Dubai! This time around we are bringing you the results from the open qualification phase of WST Dubai Street 2024. As was the case with Park this time last week, the cut takes on extra significance because this event concludes Phase 1 of the Road To Paris 2024- from where only 44 male and 44 female skateboarders can go forward into the Olympic Qualifier Series beginning in Shanghai this May.

Since national quotas become a factor for the Olympics, we have once again broken down the entire qualification field by country. Everybody north of the red lines below goes forward to meet the top pre-seeded skaters in tomorrow’s quarterfinals.

The 21 countries sending skateboarders through from qualifications are as follows:

Japan 11, France 8, Brazil 5, USA 4, Australia and Canada 3 each, Peru, China, Poland, Netherlands, Spain, Italy and Sweden each send through 2, while a single representative progresses on behalf of Norway, Portugal, Great Britain, Colombia, Slovakia, Switzerland, New Zealand and Thailand.

We will naturally bring you the results from the quarterfinals as soon as the last trick is landed, and live broadcasts on several platforms will begin to pick up the action from Saturday’s Semifinals onwards if you want to enjoy the ripping in real time.
