Younger skateboarders in the Americas will no doubt be interested in updates from the Junior Pan-American Games 2025, which are taking place in Asunciòn, Paraguay, next year.

The organisers of this huge continental event have released a useful bulletin full of information about eligibility, country quotas, wildcards and all that good stuff.

It is hard to overstate just how big a deal the Pan-American Games are for skateboarders from Canada to Argentina, but they are broadly equivalent to the Asian Games in terms of regional importance. The Junior Pan-American Games provide a pathway into that contest for both winners, and are widely seen as a bellwether of who is coming up hard within competitive skateboarding, particularly within South America.
