As part of the fortnight’s skateboarding activity which was June’s WST World Cup Rome 2026, World Skate flew in Brazilian Adaptive Skateboarding trailblazers Vini Sardi and Felipe Nunes to head up two Invitational sessions (one each in Park and Street respectively) in order to demonstrate the level of progression in this skateboarding space over the last few years.

As you may recall from our WST São Paulo 2025 World Championships, local ruler Vinicios dominated in Park during the STU Adaptive Skateboarding Global Cup; as well as being the dominant force in his discipline worldwide, Vini is also President of the Brazilian Paraskate Association.

Felipe Nunes needs little by way of introduction: the Thrasher cover star from Curitiba is already well established as one of the gnarliest street skaters in the game.

With the intention of raising the international profile of Adaptive Skateboarding, the pair proved to be perfect ambassadors for their movement- and the crowd reactions in both Ostia and Colle Oppio reflected their inspiring passion, talent and tenacity.

Meet them both, above!
