World Skate are delighted to be able to reveal the FOP streetcourse design for the 20th edition of the Mediterranean Games, taking place in the beautiful Italian port city of Taranto as August turns into September 2026.
The Street Skateboarding component will take part on September 1st-2nd at the 1,000-capacity Salinella Urban Centre.
The Field Of Play features hubbas, handrails and Euro-gaps, the FOP also includes flatbars, manual pad, offset quarter pipes, driveway and even some steep wallie transitions at the back of out-ledges which can double as kickers for creative interpretational twists.
This layout will remain in situ post-event as a permanent facility for the use of skateboarders from across Italy and, hopefully, beyond!
Although not a World Skateboarding Tour event, the Street Skateboarding element of the Mediterranean Games is World Skate-sanctioned, and will therefore run along our established format guidelines and judging criteria.
Tickets are already on sale via the Mediterranean Games website, and the following countries will participate in Street Skateboarding at Mediterranean Games:
