The next two weekends will see the World Championships of Street and Park Skateboarding take place at the Aljada Skatepark at the heart of the Madar entertainment complex designed by internationally-acclaimed Zaha Hadid Architects in Sharjah, UAE.

If you are one of the skate scene in the Gulf region and you want to come and watch the contests in person, then you should apply for your free ticket courtesy of hosts Arada right here.

As you might imagine with a combined $500,000 prize purse and more than 450 skaters registered to enter, demand is going to be high- so be quick to reserve yours as they are first come, first served!

If you can’t make it to the first major international skate event in the Emirates yourself, then rest assured we will be broadcasting live and direct from both events with hosts Marc Churchill, Samantha Bruce and Danny Wainwright via Olympics.com, Worldskate.tv and Red Bull TV on both coming weekends- 4th/5th (Street) and 11th/12th (Park).
